Prior to SNL, Michael was just one of eight comedians chosen for the inaugural “Netflix Introducing…” next stars of comedy showcase at the Netflix is a Joke Festival. He was also selected as one of TBS's “Comics To Watch” at the New York Comedy Festival, and went on to make his late night debut on CONAN. He was a favorite on NBC’s comedy talent series Bring The Funny. US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Please plan for the weather, bring anything you may want between laps, and check in with race staff if you need help. NODA Halloween Freaky 5k

The NoDaWeen Freaky 5K is a fun run hosted by the NoDa “NBA” – Neighborhood and Business Association. Come run though one of Charlotte’s most historic and spookiest neighborhoods. Participants are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes as prizes will be handed out for best costumes and for fastest runners. A post-run party will be held at Great Wagon Road . This race is great for experienced and beginner runners or walkers and for families, friends, teenagers, kids, and strollers! Well behaved, leashed dogs, are welcome. Pre-register by Thursday, 10/15/2026 and receive a stylish t-shirt with your race package! Youth sizes also available. As a 501C3 non-profit organization, net proceeds from the Freaky 5K benefit NoDa NBA community projects.
